Surfing in Italy - Livorno
I found the following short clip on YouTube of some footage of Surfing in Livorno Italy. I actually surfed at that same spot a number of years ago - and locked the keys in the van! The water was freezing and I only had a spring suit as I’d lost my steamer in Portugal.

We scored it pretty good, from chatting to the locals it doesn’t get much better than what we got when we were there. Got lucky I guess. See the photos I took below:

mediterranean sea and especially italy are great places to surf, even if it’s true that you have to be patient. I started to the surf on the basque country in france, and live now in italy, and i surf 2 times a week… if you want to see some pictures:

Hey Inik, looks like you’ve been scoring some good waves over there. I must admit I was quite surprised and how good some of the waves were there. I also scored solid 6ft waves south of Barcelona, and have surfed a few times outside of Rome.
