As I mentioned before I went up to Burleigh Heads just after christmas and encountered some pretty wild weather. There was some much rain (350mm some nights - that's 14-15 inches) that the rivers were all over flowing and sending silt, trees, chairs, eskies you name it into the ocean. Earlier today I put up a post about a New Zealand job site launching Fanuary. It seems this promotion was a little too risque for the previous sponsor and they have threatened legal action. MyJobSpace are now looking for a new sponsor to take their cash.

The month of Movember has just passed and a lot of the Pro Surfers got behind the cause and grew some moustache's, so good and some not so good. I wonder if the Female pro surfers will get behind the latest initiative by New Zealand job board MyJobSpace with the month of Fanuary, which is aiming to raise cash for cervical cancer research. Aquabumps did a photo shoot recently of a world record photo shoot with 1200 bikini models on the beach at bondi. Just about killed his server with over 100,000 people viewing the photoshoot already.

I've just rejigged the site, upgraded to the latest version of WP and now using a theme by Upstart Blogger. I think it's much cleaner than the previous ones I've tried. Think I'll stick with this one for a while now. Let me know if you find it broken anywhere...
